The start of 2023 has been busy and productive for the whole team at Anara Publishing. To share all of our exciting news, we’re starting a series of quarterly wrap up blogs. Welcome to the first edition!
Here’s a little recap of key things that have happened over the last 4 months:
– Anara Publishing partnered with GMI for their Songweavers’23 competition! The winner received global music publishing administration from Anara Publishing for the winning song, inclusion in our roster for sync pitches worldwide, and an invitation to our next songwriting camp to collaborate with other songwriters from our roster. Congratulations to the winner, Prabahan Shakya, who has already taken part in our India songwriting camp. We look forward to your future with Anara Publishing.
– Our Director, Debs, is proud to be a founding member of the MuSee+ community. She travelled to Cannes, France at the start of 2023 for the MIDƐM+! music conference.
– 6 amazing songs from our roster artists were chosen to be part of the latest Musical Range VR game sync placement.
– Multi-talented recording artist, singer/songwriter, and producer, Korcz , joined the Anara Publishing family.
– Season 2 of Music Publishing Simplified has re-started on Instagram in collaboration with Horus Music India. So far, we’ve had guests such as Rafael Pereira (managing partner at Tinnuts IP Law Firm), Vicky Bahri (founder and producer at Reimagine Entertainment) and Rosie Stephens (music supervisor at Create Advertising London).
– Roster artists Subhi and Ramsey Noah landed sync placements in the Netflix Series Neumatt.
– Luke Elgie and his brand-new creative endeavour called Wingbeats has joined the Anara Publishing roster.
– Throughout February and March, Anara held 2 India based songwriting camps with an amazing selection of talented songwriters. Music Supervisors, Vishruti Bindal, Sandesh Rao and Faustin Missier, joined us for the listening sessions and gave valuable feedback to the artists about their songs created during the camp. An invaluable experience that gave lots of food for thought for future music creations.
– Our Head of A&R, Sync and Label Services, Jagoda, attended the music showcase and conference “NEXT FEST” in Poland.
– The Anara Publishing team are preparing for their trip to The Great Escape Festival in May 2023, along with sister company Horus Music.
