Anara Publishing are pleased to announce the latest addition to their roster, Birmingham born singer-songwriter Ed Geater. The company will be representing his work for publishing and synchronisation worldwide.
Anara Publishing’s Director, Deborah Smith, said of the signing “We are very excited to have Ed on board. His unique style of fusing beautiful acoustic melodies with his signature beatbox rhythms complements our existing roster perfectly.”
Fresh from the successful release of his latest EP, Unseen, and currently embarking on a UK tour, Ed has partnered with Anara Publishing to gain further exposure for his music in the film, television and advertising world. Ed’s music draws upon his influences from ambient electronic artists such as Bonobo, Boards of Canada and Four Tet. He incorporates vivid and textural musical landscapes by adding his signature warm vocals and acoustic guitar loops.
As well as the Unseen EP, Anara Publishing will administer and license the entirety of the Ed Geater back catalogue, including earlier releases Barriers and Changing Waves.
On joining Anara Publishing, Ed commented “I’m absolutely delighted to sign with Anara Publishing. The company has a creative vision very much aligned with my own, as its roster offers a unique alternative to music curators and supervisors. It’s been great to get to know Deborah and the team and I’m really excited for the future.”
